Description

Peel the potatoes, cover them with water, and cook until tender. Drain the water partially from the potatoes and sprinkle them with sifted flour. Using the back of a wooden spoon, make a hole in the mixture down to the bottom, cover with a lid, and let it steam slowly. Then mix the mixture, lightly salt it, and stir it into a smooth consistency. Using a spoon dipped in oil, shape dumplings (škubánky) from the mixture, sprinkle them with a mixture of ground poppy seeds and powdered sugar, and drizzle with oil.
