Pour the rinsed rice into boiling milk, add a little salt, boil slowly and simmer under the lid until porridge, sweeten. Finally, add half of the chopped almonds, cook briefly. Pour water over the sour cherries with sugar, boil and thicken with starch. When serving, pour the rice porridge over the cherries, garnish with mint and the other half of the almonds.
