Fry the diced bacon until crispy. Add chopped onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, lightly season with salt, and simmer. Finally, stir chopped basil into the sauce and season with chili to taste. Cook pasta in salted water, drain when done, and mix with the sauce. Serve topped with grated cheese.
