Description

In oil, sauté diced bacon, caraway seeds, and onion until golden brown. Add diced potatoes, julienned cabbage, garlic, season with salt and pepper, pour in vegetable broth, and simmer until vegetables soften. Mash some of the potatoes, thicken the soup with a roux made from oil and flour, and simmer. Finally, stir in cream to smooth out the soup and simmer gently. Sauté sliced sausage in oil, add to the soup, and season with salt, garlic, ground pepper, and marjoram.
